The Spider Goat in the Mirror installation was created for the Spring Break Art Show, NYC, September 2026
Once upon a time, on a farm in Utah, there lived a herd of goats.
They grazed like goats.
They slept like goats.
They dreamed like goats.

But deep inside, something had changed.

A spider gene had been implanted in their bodies—and soon their milk began
to alchemize into spider silk. Almost weightless, yet stronger than Kevlar, a
new substance emerged - imagined for everything from mending damaged
bones to protective vests for military use.

The Spider Goat in the Mirror enters a world transformed beneath the
threshold of perception—a place where the natural, synthetic, and engineered
increasingly coexist. Living organisms are altered. Synthetic matter becomes
habitat. Forces beyond our perception reshape bodies and environments.

But what does the spider goat see when it looks in the mirror?
Just a goat.
